This relaxed private wine tour combines exceptional wines, beautiful rural landscapes and authentic local experiences, before continuing west to the dramatic coastline of Muriwai.

Begin your experience at renowned Kumeu River Wines with a cellar door tasting, discovering why this family-owned winery has earned an international reputation for its wines. Continue to Soljans Estate, a fifth-generation family-owned winery, where you'll go behind the scenes on a winery tour before enjoying a tasting of five wines accompanied by a cheese board.

​With your own experienced local guide, there's no rushing between multiple groups or following a fixed group itinerary. The tour is exclusively yours, giving you time to enjoy the wine, ask questions and take in the scenery at a relaxed pace.

After the wineries, leave the vineyards behind and head to Auckland's wild west coast for a relaxing walk along Muriwai's famous black-sand beach. From Kumeū's vineyards to the Tasman Sea, this private experience brings together New Zealand wine, family winemaking heritage, local hospitality and some of Auckland's most distinctive landscapes.
